The implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is soon approaching. The old regulation will expire on 25 May 2018 and many things will change in terms of privacy and data processing. However, we at ctrl do not worry about the GDPR and our clients can sleep peacefully as well.
That’s because privacy and data protection are in ctrl’s genes. Our focus on privacy is embedded in our platform. From the very first moment, we have been actively protecting the data of our users. The platform has, by design, been fully set up for the purposes of safe data storage and authorisation.
Ctrl guarantees privacy in two ways. We never send data by email, but process everything through a dashboard. As a user you do receive mail, but only to inform you have a message or a task in your dashboard. As a result, you always work in an entirely protected environment.
In addition, all data stored in our platform is only accessible for those who have permission. Our platform has multiple protection layers to ensure that privacy-sensitive data can only be accessed by the right people. We guarantee protection with two-factor authentication and by sending encrypted documents.
